Introduction
Beloved in Christ, as I walk through the bustling streets of Delhi, my heart is overwhelmed by a divine burden. The cries of millions without Christ echo in my spirit, reminding me of our sacred calling as Pentecostal believers. The Lord is looking for laborers who will carry His light into the darkest corners of our cities. This is not just a message—it is a wake-up call for every pastor, leader, and believer in our IPC family. We must rekindle the fire of evangelism while deepening our roots in Christ and strengthening our bonds of fellowship.
The Heartbeat of Pentecost: Compassion for Lost Souls
Our Lord Jesus demonstrated perfect evangelism. He saw beyond the crowds and looked into hearts hungry for truth. The book of Acts records how the early church turned the world upside down through their passion for souls. Today, Delhi stands as a modern-day Macedonia, crying out, “Come and help us!” With less than one percent of our population knowing Christ, we cannot afford complacency.
I’ve witnessed countless miracles in our IPC churches – broken lives restored, addicts delivered, and families transformed by Christ’s power. Just recently, a young man walked into one of our Delhi congregations, bound by substance abuse. Through persistent prayer and loving discipleship, he experienced miraculous deliverance and is now actively serving in ministry. Such testimonies should ignite our evangelistic zeal! Let me challenge you: Commit to share your testimony with one person this week. Eternal destinies hang in the balance.
This Pentecostal fire that birthed the early Church continues to transform lives today in our IPC congregations across Delhi. I’ve stood amazed watching the Holy Spirit move powerfully – breaking chains of addiction, restoring broken marriages, and calling sinners to repentance.
Growing Deep to Reach Wide
Soul-winning requires spiritual depth. Like the apostle Paul, we must spend time in God’s presence to effectively minister to others. I begin each morning with thirty minutes of prayer and Scripture meditation—this discipline has sustained my ministry for decades. Without this anchor, we risk becoming like the Ephesian church that left its first love.
Pastors, I understand your burdens. Administrative duties and church pressures can drain your spiritual vitality. Remember Martha, who was distracted by much serving? Jesus commended Mary’s choice to sit at His feet. Your private devotion fuels your public ministry. Take time this week to retreat with God—even if just for an hour. Let Him refresh your soul.
The Strength of United Fellowship
Isolation is dangerous for any believer. Proverbs warns that whoever separates himself seeks his own desire. Our faith thrives in community. Across Delhi and NCR, IPC churches are joining hands through monthly prayer gatherings, youth conventions, and women’s fellowships. These connections remind us we’re part of something greater—God’s end-time army.
If you’re not already involved, I urge you to join a nearby IPC church’s prayer group or Bible study. Together, we are stronger. Together, we can accomplish far more for God’s kingdom than we ever could alone.
Conclusion: Answering the Call
The hour is urgent, dear friends. As Pentecostal believers, we carry a distinct mandate—to proclaim Christ’s power to save, heal, and deliver. Let this message stir you to action: Seek the lost with fresh zeal, deepen your walk with God daily, and lean into our IPC family for support.
Will you pray with me? “Lord, break my heart for what breaks Yours. Use me as Your vessel in Delhi’s harvest field. Help me grow in You and stand united with my brothers and sisters.” This is our time to shine for Christ!
